Balloon Safaris; Maasai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari.

Masai Mara Baloon Safaris
Balloon safaris are an evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you gracefully and silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wildlife in the early morning. Typically, a balloon safari begins at the break of dawn, about 6am, and lasts about 1 hour, during which you will fly over parts of the vast Maasai Mara plain, seeing the magnificent wildlife below, spreading over several square kilometers.

Balloon flights are available daily in Maasai Mara and take off from designated sites where the disturbance to animals is kept to a minimum. Your safari vehicle drops you off at the take off site and picks you up from your landing site. The flight is followed by a champagne breakfast "in the bush", with a well laid out seating arrangement and waiters on hand, to give you a fitting finale to your memorable flight in the wild.

Itinerary:
You will be picked from your hotel at 5am and driven to the Launch site near Maasai Kopjes.

On reaching the launch site you will be briefed about your balloon ride by your pilot. You will then take off and fly over the game filled plains and reverie forest of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, watching all the animals, including lion, elephant and all the plains game. Your Safari flight will last about an hour depending on the aerodynamic conditions. On landing you will be met by our team with whom you will toast a glass of champagne, as is the tradition of the balloon safaris. You will then seat down to a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush...safari style.

After your breakfast, you will be driven back to your hotel to prepare for other day's activities.
